What Certifications do Your Mattresses Have?2024-05-04T07:51:02+00:00

Our mattresses hold several important certifications, demonstrating our commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. These include:

  • CertiPUR-US®: This certification ensures our foams are made without ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, heavy metals like mercury and lead, formaldehyde, and phthalates. It also guarantees low VOC (volatile organic compound) emissions for better indoor air quality.

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: This rigorous certification tests every component of our mattresses, from threads to foams, for harmful substances. An OEKO-TEX®-certified mattress is free of a wide array of potentially hazardous chemicals.

We may not have certifications for every single mattress model. Please check the specific product description or contact our customer support for the certifications of a particular mattress you are interested in.

What are the common foam types and grades for mattresses ?2023-01-02T07:32:42+00:00

There are several types of foam that are commonly used in mattresses:

  1. Polyurethane foam: This is the most common type of foam used in mattresses. It is a synthetic foam that is made from a combination of chemicals and has a spongy, bouncy feel.
  2. Memory foam: This type of foam is also known as viscoelastic foam. It is made from polyurethane, but has the ability to contour to the shape of the body, which makes it great for pressure relief.
  3. Latex foam: This type of foam is made from natural rubber and has a springy, bouncy feel. It is often used as a top layer in mattresses because of its ability to contour to the body and provide good support.
  4. Gel foam: This type of foam is made from polyurethane and has a gel-like substance mixed in to help with temperature regulation. It is often used as a top layer in mattresses to help keep the sleeper cool.
  5. Hybrid foam: Hybrid foam mattresses are made from a combination of two or more types of foam. They are designed to provide the benefits of multiple types of foam in one mattress.
